when we walked in fields of gold
Cheap Monday sweater / James jeans / Wanted boots / Forever 21 necklace / Banana Republic bracelet / Michael Kors watch
Shop Bop sent me this uber soft and chunky sweater (perhaps they read this post?) and I already know it will be a winner in my closet for years to come. There's something about it's oatmeal mellowness that just makes me feel all cozy inside. Like I should be sipping mulled wine or a hot toddy. Which I probably shouldn't be doing after a ginormous Thanksgiving day feast.
But for a dinner out, you know I couldn't just leave it at that. (Although this would still be cute with plain old skinnies or skinny cargo pants.) So I pulled on my resin coated black James jeans (seen here and here) and my knee high Wanted boots (seen here). That's my iPhone I'm holding. ;)
I really can't take much credit for these photos. You'll have to thank HB.
And the sun. The Southern sun. Makes editing a piece o' cake.
The day before I had done the exact same hair dyeing and toning treatment that I did earlier this year (here's the tutorial) and I'm pretty pleased with how it came out. Cool ash blonde. I love the touches of silver woven like threads throughout - it won't last long, but it makes me feel chic all the same.
I like to do my own hair nowadays because getting it professionally colored is just so darn expensive. Box color is so technologically advanced these days, with great instructions, and ammonia-free, that it's virtually impossible to encounter disaster.
