Happy Dance

I did not believe I would have the privilege of being able to write something like this, but, mind-boggling as it is...here I am. Pretty Shiny Sparkly has been nominated a 2nd year in a row for best fashion or beauty blog! I'm so touched you guys, seriously. And while I know there's probably no hope of winning against giants like Emily (who won last year), I'm so humbled and sincerely grateful that some of you even considered me to be in the likes of these people. Truly honored. I may or may not have jumped out of bed and done a happy dance in my pajamas while my husband gave me the crazy-eyed who-the-heck-did-I-marry look.

But perhaps what I am most proud of is that my mother's blog, Channeling Erik, is also nominated! My mom works extraordinarily hard on a blog and a topic that she's incredibly passionate about. Even if it may not be your cup of tea, I truly believe she deserves your vote because she devotes at least 8 hours a day to the blog. This is seriously a full-time job for  her folks, and she doesn't accept a cent for it.
