Glitter & Shine
Even though I am totally one of those people that complains bitterly about Christmas decorations being up before Thanksgiving is around the corner, this year I seem to find myself thinking about the holidays before fall has even winked its eye (at least to us Texans). I was quick enough to snag the gorgeous red matte lipstick MAC released for its limited edition holiday collection, and boy is "Such Flare!" gorgeous--especially in an unexpected matte finish.
I'm loving my (two!) pairs of MIA wedges (I have them in both black glitter and a pretty taupe). Wedges are an equalizer for any outfit - they can simultaneously dress down a stuffy outfit, or elevate one that's too casual. Of course, the ZARA sequin clutch is on many a woman's mind--my store only had the black left (boring!) but I snagged the gold one when it became available again online. The Efva Attling cuff reminds me every day to Seize the Day - something I think we all-too-often forget in the hustle and bustle of things. It's my daily reminder to be the best person I can be, and to never let an opportunity (to do good, to make a change, to be brave) pass me by.
I've been loving the look of OPI's San-tan-tonio on my nails, and I've been surprised to see how well it pairs with silver jewelry! Lastly, those silver bow-tipped heels are just adorable--I don't own them but I think any girl who wears them will feel at once classy and a bit Cinderella-y. And what could be more perfect for holiday parties?
