BYOB: DIY Arm Party
Hey peeps! I thought I would hit two birds with one stone with this post. First, I want to show you my Sunday project: two DIY bracelets I made after I started getting the craft itch. Secondly, I want to show you how to add your own arm party link & picture for Wednesday's linkup. (Not sure what I'm talking about? Click here.) Since it's not a full outfit post challenge, I want to make sure participants know how to use the linky tool to crop and show a close up of their arm parties. Let's get started!
DIY Friendship & Wrap Bracelets
I crafted this friendship bracelet (thanks for the instructions, Honestly...WTF) and used my blog background (a nice homage, eh?) as the inspiration. Similarly, I created this Chan Luu style wrap bracelet (also from here). The possibilities are endless, especially since I also bought some rhinestone trim for a little bling!
The best part of all of this is that you don't have to spend hundreds of dollars on a single bracelet. You can add a lot of style and personality to your arm party for just a few dollars per bracelet. Cost increases with fancier things (like rhinestones), but nowhere near approaches designer prices.
Of course...if you want to buy some fancy arm bling, there are a few I am loving as of late. The trick is to keep it varied in terms of interest and elements.

Arm Party Tips & Instructions for Linking
The above should walk you through the steps of adding your link using the tool on Wednesday (when the link-up post goes live, of course). Make sure you choose a photo by selecting "Crop", and make sure you have a good crop by showing some arm and a whole lotta party. Get my drift?
Try not to be ghetto (above) when taking your arm party shots. Please see that the above mess has been blurred out to spare you the horror, but keep in mind that we don't want to see your laundry on the floor, either. (Hypothetically, of course.)
Similarly, try not to zoom in so much that we can count your hair follicles and plot your moles.
Too dark! Keep it light for better visibility.
