Wish

Amidst all the hustle and bustle of wedding planning and house-buying...I kind of forgot about my birthday, which is today.

Because the wedding is in less than two weeks and things are kind of, well, a little bit crazy right now, I'm keeping it low-key this year.

HB and I will go out and celebrate quietly, together, at one of my favorite special occasion restaurants--and it isn't complete without a birthday song sung in Japanese and a cheesy polaroid photo taken with me in a chef's hat. When I leave the place smelling like a hibachi, I know I've had a great time.

As it is, I've already had all of my wishes come true this year...so my birthday wish is to be as deliriously happy/lucky in the second half of 2012 as I have been in the first.
