Thanksgiving holiday was spent with my wonderful boyfriend's family at their ranch house in the Texas hill country. Beautiful weather, cool crisp air, and the warm scent of something baking filled my days.

We all munched on my Hello Dolly bars, and pumpkin cheesecake, and I feasted on the most deliciously moist turkey I've ever tasted (sorry, Mom). Something about cooking it in a bag, they say.

HB and I were driving around looking for deer and all around us the fields were beautiful waves of amber in the wind. That combined with a big blue sky that quickly turned darkly ominous & grey were all we needed to hop out of the car and just take some pictures in this glorious field - no matter what we were wearing!
