Playing with Jewels

As the name of my website suggests, I'm immediately drawn to anything pretty that sparkles and shines. And even as a child, I would stand on my tiptoes to peek into the brightly-lit display cases at my local jewelers, Helzberg Diamonds, and admire the glittering jewelry.

It all comes full circle for me now, as I admire and play with the captivatingly unique designs from Effy Jewelry at Helzberg Diamonds. From the warm rose gold tones mixed with tanzanite, to the rich bright gold with micro-pavé diamonds surrounding beautiful emeralds (my birthstone), I feel like I've died and gone to heaven.

In this digital age, we are expected to purchase everything online. We tout its convenience, its requirement to leave the house is unwound, and shipping is faster than ever. But we also miss out on the experiences, like the one I had as a child, seeing. Touching. Sensing.

We also lose out on the ever-important human-human contact that a knowledgeable sales assistant can provide. And when you are buying jewelry--you want the full, rich experience that nothing but an in-store visit can provide.

The tanzanite stones are the clearest I've ever seen -- truly remarkable beauties, and they remind me of one of my best friends, whose tanzanite earrings I purchased for her birthday, as a pre-teen with all of my allowance, she still has in her possession to this day.

Go stop by your local Helzberg Diamonds today and check out the Effy Collection--it's a bold, modern take on fine statement jewelry.

This blog post was brought to you in part thanks to the lovely sponsorship of Helzberg Diamonds.
