Northern Women in Chanel

Nothing gets me more excited than tributes to my Scandinavian heritage. As a citizen of Norway, I love seeing the tiny country of only a handful of a million people in the spotlight. So, imagine my delight to find that not only are the beautiful women of Scandinavia being showcased--but in Chanel couture, nonetheless!

With unlimited access to Chanel’s archives, the duo shot close to 300 looks by the house in little over a year, including one-of-a-kind pieces dating back to the early 1920s. “We’re so close to nature here,” says Farago, who was inspired by Ingmar Bergman’s earthy heroines. “That strength and honesty makes for a graceful, down-to-earth kind of femininity.” source

This amazing 300+ page book called, "Northern Women in Chanel" will be released July 1 from Farago Publishing.

I can't wait to have it in a place of honor on top of my stack of books on the coffee table! After pouring over the images, of course.
