Leopard & Lace

Yesterday I took HB out for his birthday. He's now a whopping 17 years old!

Kidding. But seriously, he's 27. Going on 45.

I took him to Fogo de Chao, a cool Brazilian restaurant where waiters in gaucho pants come around with skewers of very red meat (my favorite) and slice off pieces for you. You even have a little coaster, one side green (for GO MEAT! I like to say) and one side red (for OMG I'M FULL). It's completely indulgent, and I definitely ate at least 3 or 4 roasted bananas (I seriously cannot pass up a roasted/baked/fried banana or plantain--it's probably one of my favorite dishes).

I don't think I've had so much indulgent, rich food in one week in my life! That's what you get for having Valentine's Day and HB's birthday three days apart, I guess.

The lipstick I'm wearing is L'Oreal "British Red", and nail polish is OPI Koala Bear-y.

I hope you noticed (maybe? yes?) that I've been working super hard to photograph my outfits more often. I think this week has to be some sort of PSS record! All the credit goes to my lovely man for taking them. He's so wonderful. Happy Birthday, HB! I love you!

P.S. -- You guys are so silly commenting about my ring! It's from a giveaway on PSS I did a while back - just fits on a ring finger and I happen to be wearing it on my left hand! LOL
