Gift Guide: Beautista

The girl that is obsessed with the latest frou-frou products can often be the most difficult to shop for. Beauty products are so personal - the wrong color and it'll never be worn; plus, can you pick out a friend's foundation color in-store without her present? I think not.But there's more you can give than just a Sephora gift card.

Hand creme is a personal favorite of mine (I've been known to buy 2 or more of a good hand creme at a time to always have one in my purse and one in my school bag) and is truly difficult to mess up as a gift.

Candles are a warm touch that nobody can hate on, and Diptyque candles are well known enough and long-lasting enough to make them enough of a gift to stand on their own. This new Feu de Bois scent is a woody scent which is perfect for the holidays (especially for those with artificial trees!).

Prada's Infusion d'Iris is just a personal long-time favorite scent of mine, which I have always gotten nothing but compliments on - it's universally flattering. And, perhaps most significantly, it's the only perfume I've ever used completely down to the bottom.

Fresh's universally-flattering lip tint comes in a new plum shade that is perfect for adding a bit of color to the face while wearing winter whites, and Mangosteen soap is heady and addicting--and can make even the most frigid of winters melt away with its caribbean-like scent in the shower.
