Gearing Up For Summer

As I gear up for summer (and my vacation to Mexico), it becomes standard that the hunt for summer-proof beauty items begins. This summer, I'm rediscovering the CoverGirl LashBlast Volume mascara. I'm not partial to waterproof formulas as it is too harsh on the lashes. This formula lengthens and provides volume and doesn't require multiple coats.

I also picked up the Olay Total Effects 7 Featherweight Moisturizer. I picked it because it provides moisture, includes a broad spectrum SPF 15 sun protection, and in addition to the multiple anti-aging benefits, it promises to be lightweight, quick-absorbing, and weightless. Definitely a winner in my book since I can't be bothered with heavy creams on my face during the hot summer months!
