Bohemian

My closet is filled with separates and short dresses. Skirts, jeans (oh, the jeans), pants, shorts, long sleeves, short sleeves, blazers, jackets. But until now I didn't own a single maxi dress. The reason is probably obvious--I'm petite so most maxi dresses make me appear 5 years old again, playing dress-up in mom's closet. With a little luck at my local Forever 21 (and some rather tall platforms that fit the bohemian feel I was going for perfectly) I can now proudly call myself a maxi wearer.

Luckier still am I to have been gifted this amazing mongolian lambswool fur monster I affectionately call my Perfect Apartment Dog by the wonderful folks at Foley + Corinna. You probably are already familiar with their Disco City and Mid City bags (both favorites of mine), but one thing I was delighted to learn when speaking with them on the phone a few weeks ago was that they also have a very gorgeous ready-to-wear line. I myself have a leopard backless dress that I can't wait to wear out!
