Bloggers Cafe 03 Los Angeles

First of all I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your tender, sweet words of comfort on my last post. It meant so much to me - and I'm sorry for making so many of you cry! Your words touched me so much. Thank you.

When I was in Los Angeles last week, I had the fortune of being invited as an honorary member to the Two Point Oh LA 3rd Bloggers' Cafe event held in a posh building downtown. As I walked in I was greeted by the site of one familiar face (Kelsi) and a whole bunch of very stylish people. Not to mention racks of gorgeous clothes, and a display table full of sparkling jewelry!

Some Nana Bijou jewelry. She was so sweet and fun to talk to!

Some gorgeous views of the city from the balcony of Fashion Los Angeles Headquarters.

The smog gives it a little kick of je nes se quas, non?

For part two of the evening's festivities, we headed downstairs and just to the right to the cute little fashion pop-up shop called SIXHUNDRED (located at 600 Spring St).

These cute printed totes held a gifted t-shirt!

Some of the gorgeously eclectic jewelry that SIXHUNDRED carries. Right up my alley!

The woman who makes it all possible! Thanks for being such a hospitable blog-friend-turned-bff, Kelsi!

I'm thankful Neekoh snapped a pic of my outfit! Thanks, girl!

All in all, I had so much fun -- I can't believe in almost exactly one year (my blog's bday is November 1st...get your party hats ready!) this little blog has become such a valuable part of my life and such a great way of making so many new friends this year. I couldn't imagine being called anything else online anymore!

I also cannot stop wearing my gifted Gypsy '05 scarf everywhere around the house. I keep my house at a comfortable 72-74 degrees during the day, and you probably are not surprised to hear that it can get pretty hot in Houston - so if anybody saw me wearing my scarf around the house they'd think I was a crazy person. But it's sooooo soft and it's this lovely lavender ombré with webbed tassles at the ends. I even put it on over my scrubs when I get home from work sometimes! LOL
