Gold Medal Army

Incorporating the army trend into a wearable outfit "for the rest of us" can be a daunting task. Unless you're Alexa Chung. But, I digress.

That's where gold accessories come in.

They add some feminine, fabulous flair (say that five times fast) and can really brighten up an otherwise dreary palette. (Hello? Army fatigues are meant to blend in--and why would I ever want to do that?)

I'm pretty sure HB gets super tickled each time he comes down the stairs each morning. As I'm fixing a bowl of Cheerios - he pauses to take in the (at times elaborate) day's outfit. I just smile and shrug - it's part of the package, baby!
